The baritone ukulele is the largest of the standard ukulele sizes and is tuned at a lower pitch, typically D, G, B, E.  This is tuned the same as the top four strings of a guitar, making it a good choice for youngsters wanting to learn guitar or existing guitar players.  This also gives it a much deeper tone, offering an alternative sound to your ukulele arsenal.  They are typically 29" in length.
